Enhancing the brand of an international luxury hotel.

Park Regis Birmingham is a 4* luxury Hotel located on Broad Street, in the heart of Birmingham’s City Centre. It is one of the largest hotels in city and officially opened its doors in 2017 following a £50m renovation to transform the former Auchinleck House office building.

The challenge  /

A premium hotel such as Park Regis Birmingham needed more than just bricks and mortar for a successful opening and ongoing smooth operation. They needed a full range of hospitality collateral that reflected their brand and created a memorable experience from arrival to the point of departure for their guests. Alongside this key requirement everything had to be ready for the opening – no fail.

Our idea  /

As just one of 17 Park Regis’ hotels across the world and the first one in Europe, the brand Park Regis Birmingham has a vibrant and consistent, friendly and welcoming persona. At Colour Cubed had to design and print a range of marketing collateral; from digital assets and print advertisements to note pads and room key cards. All of these had to adhere to the brands current guidelines ensuring the consistency of the message across all of the items produced.

To assist the management of such a large job we created a live document which tracked the progress of all of the key items. This was visible to all stakeholders including the client and tracked design process, approvals, transit updates delivery times and PODs.

The results  /

The launch of the hotel was a great success and while the hotel and the brand gained all the attention, we were able to deliver everything as planned for the big day with over 60 orders delivered on-time for the official opening.

The successful launch resulted in a strong relationship with Park Regis Birmingham which continues today Colour Cubed become their main contact for new brochures and promotional merchandise supplier
